• KARA I. SCHECHTER RAKOWSKI became a partner of the firm in 1999. Ms. Rakowski has been associated with the firm since 1991.

  Ms. Rakowski handles matters in two distinct practice areas; administrative law and foreclosure. With regard to administrative law, Ms. Rakowski has represented owners in numerous proceedings before the New York State Division of Housing & Community Renewal, New York City Department of Housing Preservation & Development, New York City Environmental Control Board and New York City Commission on Human Rights. She has also represented owners in litigation challenging determinations made by these agencies.
