At the law firm of Degan, Blanchard & Nash, we go beyond reporting progress and updating our clients on their case. We consider them to be active members of their own insurance defense. They have a say in strategies, plans and key decisions in all matters, large and small. We communicate their options and provide them with in-depth analyses and evaluations of the next steps to take.

Resolving insurance-related legal problems without a lawyer ignores the complexity of the dispute and puts a client at greater risk of an outcome that is less than satisfactory. Taking immediate action starts the process of finding the best resolution.

I was recently accepted into law school and I plan on attending this upcoming fall (Fall 2010).. . My question is about life as an attorney at a major corporate firm (something like a Fulbright & Jaworksi).. . What is it like working as a new associate at those types of firms? What does it take for a person to make partner? I understand that you have to be a good attorney and put in a lot of hours, but is that it?. . Thanks for your answers..

How do you change the spelling of your first name.

Even though you've filled out an application, it's a great idea to attach a resume so you can be a little more specific on your education, experience, etc. It looks more professional than just filling out an application form, shows that you desire the job enough to make an extra effort to do a resume, and likely will help make your application stand out more than those of other people. Standing out in a subtle but good way such as this can make all the difference if there are lots of applicants for the job.

Only the principal, if still competent, can revoke a power of attorney. If you mean that one of the attorneys-in-fact has become incompetent, then presenting evidence of that should be sufficient to allow the two remaining attorneys-in-fact to act without the third, incompetent one.
