Dear Ms. Johnson:

you're doing everything fine as long as you do it in the morning before you have any breakfast. also, you want to be sure not to do it every single day, you'll drive yourself crazy into depression. weigh yourself 1-2 times a week tops

I live in NW Oklahoma. My ex-husband lives in Texas, and for the first time in 8 years will be taking our two youngest children, ages 12 and 9, for that month's time after school ends. I've not denied him visitation, he's chosen not to have them for a variety of reasons, for more than 3-4 days at a time, unless I paid for all travel to and from and provided food and spending money, etc. I stopped doing this several years ago, realizing that he was responsible for such things while they are in his care. He now pays child support, it's taken from his checks. He use to refuse to take them for more time saying that he should not have to pay child support for the time they are with him AND pay for their care as well. He now knows that he does still have to pay child support as well as be responsible for their care while they are with him. So, I've not had more than a few days break in all of this time. We have five children together, two of which are now over the age of 18 and the other has just turned 16 and has a job here and prefers to stay here rather than go and visit with him, something we're both fine with.. . So, all of this brings me to my question, and was provided to give a full picture of the situation.. . I have to have spinal surgery at the end of May. I will need a month of recovery time where I will not be able to do anything. The two youngest children will be driven halfway to meet him to visit for a month while I recover from this surgery. What kinds of paperwork should I send to them to be able to see to their care and well-being during the time he will have them? As I said, this has not been something he has been willing to do before, so it's not a situation we've encountered. My husband and I take care of their medical and health insurance. Will I need to draw up a temporary medical power of attorney? Provide him insurance information for our policy? What else should I send? I don't want this to be a burden on him should something happen with one of the boys. And I want them to have the care they should receive if needed. I want to cover everything so that I can have this surgery and be able to recover without being worried that if something occurs that care for them might be delayed. Shot records? HELP!!!!!! I'm driving myself nuts trying to figure out what I should be sending with them and cannot find any sort of list in a web search!. . Thanks!!. So, even with me having full custody, he won't need medical power of attorney or anything like that? What about if he decides to enroll them in summer sports, etc? Should I send our health and medical policy info with them since that is the insurance that covers them?.

i cant help you with your problem but i too have my fathers last name and just like in your situation he's no father, throughout my childhood my dad was in and out of prison and that was the only time he ever wanted to talk to me (to make me feel bad) but i think its good for you to change his name to yours i think about changing my last name except that is the family who has always been there for me. anyways good luck and i don't think its too long of a process to change last names especially cus of his age

I have to write the reference letter. ?

ANY heath care cost increases you see in 2010 are either a reaction to pending legislation or just the usual hikes that we see every year.
