I believe Gotten is American whilst Got is British.. . My University professors hate it when we use 'Gotten' in exams or presentations, however for informal usage, Gotten is perfectly fine. They told me that 'Gotten' is acceptable in spoken language, but the grammatically correct version of 'get' is accepted while writing - however - "She get used to living in the USA" is completely incorrect, that's because many British people (like me) think that we can replace "Gotten" with everything that is supposed to mean "Got" - which obviously we can't.. . -------- Examples ------. "Gotten is probably the most distinctive of all the American/British grammatical. differences, but British people who try to use it often get it wrong.. It is not simply an alternative for have got. Gotten is used in such. contexts as . They've gotten a new boat. (= obtain). They've gotten interested. (= become). He's gotten off the chair. (= moved). But it is not used in the sense of possession (= have). American does not. allow. *I've gotten the answer.. or *I've gotten plenty.. but uses I've got as in informal British. The availability of gotten. does however mean that American can make such distinctions as the following:. They've got to leave (they must leave) vs. They've gotten to leave (they've managed to leave).".

You need an estate planning/probate attorney. You father did not have a will so his estate goes to the next of kin, and that is wife and children. Since there is no wife, the children are first. The mother would be next after the children unless you have children, and then the grandchildren and the mother would be on the same level of kinship. You need to apply for administration of your father's estate. You can get the forms from the clerk of the court but you should talk to a probate attorney. You can find one from your state bar association or local bar association. Otherwise, they are in the yellow pages.

*In Maryland (Baltimore County). *No Valid Will. * I am her only child, (21, College Student, and I'd have about $20,000 or so from life insurance) and presently live in the condominium she's been paying on. The mortgage (700-800 monthly) is paid for next month.. *Are there any options?.

I'm 16 and last couple of years have been trying to make story writing my hobby. I do think it would be fun, and I've been told I have the talent for writing. Sometimes I come up with awesome plots in my head, but they never end up on paper. I also like fanfiction but can never be bothered writing it, as much as I want to. I just can't put my skills and a plot together in a story. Sometimes I feel like I'm forcing myself to do it. I feel like my talent's going to waste. What do I do?.
