The FDA has a purpose. It takes years of testing to assure drugs are safe. The rash of drugs that are being pulled off the shelves is happening because those years of tests did not take place, were rushed through, and have injured and killed tens of thousands of people.

If you have the ability to back out of your contract with the funeral home maybe you could move the funeral to a different location? If possible on private property. That way if he still found out where the funeral was being held you could notify the owners of the property and they would have a right to call the police and have him removed for trespassing. If this is not an option maybe you could look into having friends who may be a little more removed from the situation create a peaceful barricade during the service? They could stand a few yards away from the service if he shows up and block his way being sure to remain peaceful and respectful while physically stepping in front of him. If he were to then cause a disturbance he could be removed upon calling the police.

Your letters of recommendation can come from anyone who is a member of that sorority. So any sister of XYZ sorority (regardless of the school) can write you a recommendation for XYZ sorority. You need to find another sister of ABC sorority to write you one for that group. So your dad can't write them. Ask around, teachers, your parents friends, your friends parents, see if there is an Alumnae Panhellenic in your area and they can help you find people to write recommendations. Get recommendations for all the groups, you don't know who you will like until you've gone through recruitment and met the women in the chapters.
