A cover letter in this case would be an addition to your resume. Like Dear whoever, I hope you give serious consideration to my resume. I would love to work with your company and I think I would be good at it because etc. etc.. . You're asking for a job involving writing so they want to see how good you are at it. What you say won't count as much as how well you say it.

i have recently sort of started my own business. my friend does the same sort of thing that i do - web design, graphic design, photoslideshows, the normal geek things lol. several times he has done the work requested and has not been paid despite promises even from close friends, and has been taked to court due to complaints or issues he supposedly has not issued. my ? is - since i dont want this to happen to me, court and nonpayments and argueing, is it stupid to create a "form" addressing the basics, agreeing on payments and the details of the projects, basically serving as a contract? also, this would be sort of records for me, and of course i would make 2 copies, 1 for me, and 1 for the customer. i would really appreciate input on this. thnx so much..

...hope not!! What do you think?. It really saddens me to think that someday, there might not be any printed books available at all, even though that may not happen, if it ever does, until I'm long gone from this earthly dimension........ . To me, books are more than just carriers of information, exciting adventures, or far-flung, imaginative worlds. They are also beautiful objects in themselves!. . I LOVE everything about books -- the beautifully-designed covers, the smell of the paper, the feel of them as I hold them in my hands, especially collector's editions........ However, I also love regular paperbacks! I reverentely turn the pages as I read, whether the book is a paperback or a hardcover. I never write in them, nor fold pages over (that makes me cringe), or set them on the floor (AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!).. . I laminate my books too, with transparent plastic I buy in rolls, from either Walgreen's Pharmancy, or K-Mart.. . In short, I LOVE PRINTED BOOKS. I don't want them to disappear!.

I even had one girl that just handed me a pink heart-shaped sticky note that read "this isn't working out it'll be my last day."

I just moved to MA from NY, and I want to register my car in MA, but the title is in my Dad's name, What do I have to do to transfer the title?.

If you know their address, you can send them a cease and desist notice. This is a legal document, sort of a warning, that legal action (lawsuit, restraining order, etc) is about to pop off if they don't do exactly that: cease (stop) and desist (don't start that **** again).. . Here's a form letter. Fill it out. Send it to the loudmouth. If that doesn't work, call a lawyer..
