You are granted the power of attorney (or limited power of attorney) by a competent person who wishes you to act on there behalf. You cannot represent that person in the same way that a lawyer can. You can execute contracts, for instance, or make decisions on medical treatment.. . The person granting power of attorney will consult his lawyer before doing so (one would hope). Have that lawyer explain the details of the powers it bestows upon you.. . Some people confuse "power of attorney" with "guardianship". Those are two very different things. Do you need to ask a different question, or do you need to provide more details?

You can do it Pro Se. All you do is go down to your courthouse, pay the filing fee, fill out a Pro Se form (if you're representing yourself) , get the required paperwork (the clerk can tell you what you need) this usually involves a fingerprint card, and 3 copies of both the order and the petition. You can get both and fill them out yourself by getting the forms from a courthouse law library (just tell them you need a sample form for an adult name change). You have to get it notorized as well. After you do all that, they will give you a time and a date your petition will go on the docket. You show up to court, talk to the judge, who will ask you if you're doing this to avoid debt or criminal charges, ect ect..you say "no" and you walk out with a new name. They will give you copies, which will be on file at the courthouse as well, and you take the certified copies to the DMV, social security, ect..and they change it. Presto chango..you are someone new.

If i give him the power of attorney, will he be able to sell the car?. . also if i notorize the power of attorney at the us embassy in korea, will ohio dmv approve the power of attorney?.

Yes, it's absolutely necessary. You attorney should have had you sign one before entering her appearance. It appears that it someone got missed. That's okay, things get missed but now she knows about it. Now that she's aware of it she must get one signed or she must withdraw. She doesn't have much of a choice.. . Read through the engagement letter just to make sure it doesn't say anything that you haven't already agreed to prior to signing.. ________

QTIP is Qualified Terminable Interest Property . QDOT is Qualified Domestic Trust. . The difference is that QTIP has interest that is accumulated for any income earned after the trust was established. This allows you to differ any income tax to when the trust expires given that you amortize the interest over the life of the trust with equal annuity payments that are made by the trustee.. In a QDOT this is not the case and the only amount that is exempt is anything given as a qualified gift. . This could all change if the death tax is abolished by the next congress...

Registered Power of Attorney is required for the purpose of Transfer of immovable property, this includes sale or purchase of immovable property as well leasing out of immovable property for period of 12 months or more.. In all these cases duly registered Power of Attorney required.. Secondly the Power of Attorney can be General Or Special in nature depending for what purpose it is made, for a specific transaction or job it will be Special Power of Attorney but for multifarious transactions and jobs it will be General Power of Attorney.. In case this General Power of Attorney and it includes transaction such as Sale Purchase of Immovable property than this General Power of Attorney has to be Registered with the Registrar, otherwise it can be simply notarised by Notary Public.
