How Do I Prepare For Scholarships?
I can understand what you're trying to. Enabling your guests to read your thank you's, instead of having them trying to desipher through the letters........... but.......... I was at a wedding last year and they had done that. I got a plain piece of computer paper that had a pre-written general thank you. They hand wrote my name at the top and signed theirs at the bottom. I felt like another number, like they were going down a list and checking me off as though it was a chore. I put some thought into their gift and would have liked some thought put into the thank you.. . I realize that you are not going to have them all the same, and really are being considerate of your guests feelings. Good for you! There are those who don't! :). . If you were typing them out individual, having specific reference to the person/couple who you are writing to, and thanking them for their attendance and their specific gift whatever it may have been, then they will realise it's just to be neat. I wouldn't be offended in that respect. But try and buy some card stock, not just plain printer paper if you're able to. It's not that expensive, and your guests will really notice the difference, even if it is printed and not hand written. Use coloured ink, maybe a colour that matches your wedding colours.
