You must petition the court for a legal name change. You will appear before a judge who will sign off on the name change. You must then go through t Social Security administration and request a reissue of your SSN in your new legal name, you must submit the paperwork from the court to get that. Then you cahnge all other ids. DL, CC's etc.. Its usually automatucally approved by the court, however replacing all documents contracts etc. is kind of a pain in the butt.. . You have to be 18.

The proper process along with time scales is shown below. These are what you should be working to, otherwise you`re claim will go on for ever (which is what the banks want!).. . Also, don't accept a percentage of your charges back. You have a right to 100% of your charges back (+ 8% interest on top if the case goes to court, which is more than likely). EVERYONE who follows the procedure below will get 100% of their charges back.. . 1) Write to the bank and ask them for a copy of your charges for the last 6 years, or alternatively a set of statements for the same period. You do this by making a "Subject Access Request" under the Data Protection Act, enclosing a cheque for ?10 made out to the bank. This by passes the banks normal charges for statements which is normal a large amount for 6 years worth. The bank have 40 days to send you the data.. . 2) Write to the bank asking them to refund your charges, giving them 14 days to reply, attaching a "Schedule of Charges" (a list of the charges you are claiming for).. . 3) Send the bank a "Letter before Action" giving the bank one last chance to refund your charges before you take court action. They have 14 days to reply.. . 4) File a claim online using the Money Claim Online web site run by the UK Court Service. The claim is served on the bank 5 days after its submitted. The bank has 14 days to acknowledge the claim. If they don't you can request a "Judgement by Default" and you win the case, and get your charges, statutory interest at 8%, and your court fees.

How can peopel become divorce attorneys?

I recently moved to Texas from California. My California Driver's License expired several years ago and I never renewed it. I also lost my Social Security Card. I want to get a new license and they tell me I need my birth certificate and a copy of my birth certificate (which is the ONE document I DO have). The Social Security office wants a valid Photo ID and my birth certificate. . I went to Social Security today, and they would not give me a card, but they gave me a slip of paper that they said the DPS would take as proof of a Social Security Card. I then went to DPS and they said they stopped taking these pieces of paper from Social Security yesterday. DPS had no idea what to do.. Does anyone know how I can resolve this? I NEED my Driver's License ASAP!!!.

if you already have the interview, you can leave the cover letter home. but it is a good idea to send a thankyou letter about 3-4 days after. it reminds them about you.
