A GUI (Graphical User Interface) application is much more difficult to program than a simple command-line application. As you said you are a beginner, my guess is you're probably not quite ready to tackle this.. . Visual C++ should have a template to help you create a GUI application in C or C++. Programming a GUI application requires you to code in an event-driven way, which is usually too confusing for someone getting started and learning the language. Become comfortable with C or C++ before tackling the more complicated GUI app.
