• Ann Al-Bahish is an attorney with Jackson Gilmour & Dobbs, PC, based in Houston, Texas. After graduating cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1993, Ms. Al-Bahish began and has continued to practice law in Houston, Texas.

  Ms. Al-Bahish has been very active in the community, especially in the area of public health, environmental policy, and pro bono legal services.? She is currently the Chair of the Board of Healthcare for the Homeless – Houston and is on a citywide commission to address homelessness and affordable housing.? She has represented Justice for Children in several unique appeals involving children’s rights and the admission of psychiatric and psychological testimony.?   Prior to joining Jackson Gilmour & Dobbs, PC, Ms. Al-Bahish practiced for over ten years with Haynes and Boone, LLP in the environmental section, specializing in litigation.?? She began her legal career as an associate at Vinson & Elkins, LLP and also practiced in a small litigation boutique before joining Haynes and Boone, LLP.

  Ms. Al-Bahish is licensed to practice in the State of Texas, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Ms. Al-Bahish has also been admitted pro hac vice in a variety of other state and federal courts where she has had active litigation matters pending.

  Ms. Al-Bahish received her law degree, cum laude, from Harvard University in 1993.? While there, Ms. Al-Bahish was a legal writing instructor and moot court teacher.? She also was the Articles Editor of the Harvard Civil Rights Civil Liberties Law Review as well an editor and contributing author to the Journal of Law, Medicine and Health Care.? A GUI (Graphical User Interface) application is much more difficult to program than a simple command-line application. As you said you are a beginner, my guess is you're probably not quite ready to tackle this.. . Visual C++ should have a template to help you create a GUI application in C or C++. Programming a GUI application requires you to code in an event-driven way, which is usually too confusing for someone getting started and learning the language. Become comfortable with C or C++ before tackling the more complicated GUI app.
