I want to change my name legally. I also am going to be joing the Marines and want to know if i change my name will they still let me in? Also i live in Ohio so i just want to know how long and how hard and the step by step instructions to changing your name. Now i want to be clear i am talking about my last name and i know some people are going to question why i want to any everything before they answer but i do have a very good reason and i know this is what i want and my reasons are personal and im not going to share them over yahoo. But anyhow i also want to know if i were to change my last name during being in the Marines could i change my name on my uniform or would my old last name be stuck there forever?
