For school, we have had to do letters of applications for two different lessons.. . One of them was just a practice, i included why i was applying for the job, and what experience i have had in the past. Of course its fake as im still in school.. My English teacher said our exam on January might be a letter of application.. . So what things do you include in one?.

Where can I get a decent template of a "Business Letter of Intent?" I have recently come across a great business venture in which I would like to pursue and I need to have a letter of intent to start the ball rolling. I was hoping to have something as to where I can simply fill in the blanks. The business is a small retail shop. Can anyone help me out?.

Is it legal for a company in the UK to include a clause that basically states that as long as you've had time to read the contract outside of the companies office and in the presence of one of it's employees then you waive your right to a cooling off period? I thought that the cooling off period was one of your basic rights with any contract?.
