From your question, I'm assuming that this is cold, blind, inquiry from the buyer.. . This will never happen unless and until a personal contact is made either by the seller or the buyer. This may be done by a representative of the seller calling on the buyer, or a buyer making contact at a market, or, by contacting an agent of the seller.. . Only after the buyer is deemed to be a legitimate business will they ever be quoted prices, at the wholesale level. A letter of inquiry will not suffice. A location, a license, and/or a sales tax number is usually required.. . This isn't an answer for you, but all I can offer.. . You could write your own sample letter.. It will be no more than a request for an agent to contact them for a possible business relationship.. .
