There are a variety of reasons they change names. Here's a passage from the One Piece Wiki regarding names changes from the Japanese version to dubbed version (of anime series in general):. . "How do names change between languages?. . - Basically, different languages don't always share the same pronunciations. To make things easier, some dubbing companies outside Japan change names to make it easier for the people watching the show to pronounce them. The Japanese language is very different to the English language and many other languages around the world. A common example is regarding the letter 'L' which the Japanese often pronounce as a 'R', so the 'Lu' in Luffy's name comes out as 'Ru'.. . - Other times, it is simply how the name transfers into the countries written language when the script for the episodes are handed over to the dubbers. Usopp when translated into one written language comes out as 'Liar Bo', therefore that translation uses that name.. In the case of 'Zolo', 4Kids changed 'Zoro's' name to 'Zolo' to avoid copyright problems with the other well known fictional swordsman 'Zorro'.. . - Sometimes it is done to avoid words such as 'death' or weapons such as 'pistol'. Sometimes this is done because the TV station showing the series has rules against these words or references (Jettix for example). Other times it's the companies own regulations that are the reason behind the change. . - Religious related terms such as 'Miss Merry Christmas' are often removed to avoid offending non-Christians.. . - Other times it will be done to sound more exotic or fashionable. Others will simply get more uncommon romanizations. For example, changing 'Edward' to 'Ward'.. . - Lastly, there is the case where the dubbers simply choose to change the name to one that sounds more familiar to the audience. One example in One Piece is 'Miss Goldenweek' (a reference to a Japanese holiday) being changed to 'Miss April Fools day'.". . These reasons can include other anime besides One Piece (such as Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, etc.). 4Kids is probably the worst out of all the dubbing companies when it comes to changing things though so most series dubbed by that company tend to have more changes than, say, a company like Funimation which keeps names relatively (if not exactly) the same.. . Hope that helps :3

No, I don't think you acted like a jerk. Although you don't do templates, you did disclose that "Any artwork, images, or text supplied by and / or designed by on behalf of the customer and / or for use on the clients website, will remain the property of " then, they did not have legal right to use that template after that one year. Since the guy you were dealing with no longer works at that company you can't talk to him about your original arrangements. You did right (although it goes against what you are about) to just offer this guy a sweet deal and move on.

how write a business agreement letter?

i'm starting out in the world of photography. i have only been working for/ with my friends, doing portraits, but i have had plenty of interest from those who i do not know! (right now, there's a politician asking me to do portraits!). before i sign on to work with these people, what kind of forms should i have together for them to sign? where can i find templates for these forms?. i'm not worried about politics. i'm worried about my work being stolen. i'm worried about the people who want handouts. i'm worried about the people who want an argument later. i'm worried about lawsuits (i never asked you to take that! after they had just asked me to take pictures).. basically, i'm trying to play the CYA game..

These are 2 entirely different documents that each do something different. A living will, is one type of advance health directive, or advance health care directive. A living will usually covers specific directives as to the course of treatment that is to be taken by caregivers, or, in particular, in some cases forbidding treatment and sometimes also food and water, should the principal be unable to give informed consent ("individual health care instruction") due to incapacity.. . In the common law, a will or testament is a document by which a person (the testator) regulates the rights of others over his or her property or family after death. In the strictest sense, "will" is a general term, while "testament" applies only to dispositions of personal property (this distinction is seldom observed).

Greets from PL!. . I am going to Spain for Erasmus uni exchange next year and a part of getting there is to get a letter of references of language skills. I am trying to prepare a template letter for a girl who used to teach me for one year but I am not sure about some words and expressions (my lvl is B1/B2, hopefully it will improve during my time there:) and would like to kindly ask you to point out any mistakes or maybe give me some tips for better words to use or some additional things to include (especially I am not sure about the whole 'Referencias de conocimiento de idioma' thing :P):. .
