Whitout a PoA the property is strictly in the hands of the legitimate owner of record. You should get the help of a local attorney to deal with this issue - it shouldn't be very expensive ($100?). Get a rental agreement from the property owner now for $100 per year. Make sure that it is a good legitimate and enforceable agreement. It will give you an arguement because the actions of the maker of a PoA take precedent over the acts of an agent designated by PoA.. Get everything in writing.

Here's some tips if you do get the job. I hope you get it! 1st of all you must be really good with money. I would always count my drawer at the beginning of my shift so that way you know the amount of money that is in the drawer. Never let anyone else use your register for any reason. If your drawer is short they will blame you and if your short too many times they can and will probably fire you. Also make sure to put all big bills (50's and 100's) underneath the drawer where they aren't easily accessible. Also if another cashier asks you for change (like a roll of quarters or pennies) it's not usually a good idea to give it to them. I would make sure a manager is present before transferring money from one drawer to another. Also make sure to keep all checks in the correct spot. One time the company I worked for lost a 300 dollar check and they blamed it on me. A week later they found the check whoever counted the drawer that night misplaced it and I almost got in big trouble. They didnt even give me an apology they just assumed I lost it that's when I told them to go eff themselves and walked out.

I am about to go through a Divorce and want to change my name. This is the issue. When I was younger my mother felt the need to change my last name to her then current husband's last name. I do not want that to be my maiden name anymore. I would like to change it to my biological fathers last name. Can I request the name to change in the divorce to change it to my biological fathers last name or do I have to take the other last name then file for a name change after the divorce is final?.
