    Prior to joining Maloney Law, Audrey worked as a criminal defense attorney at the Council for Children's Rights and its predecessor, the Children's Law Center. In addition to specializing in defense strategies for children with complex mental health and developmental diagnoses, she served as trial counsel in In re J.L., 685 S.E.2d 11 (2009), which interpreted N.C. Gen. Stat. § 7B-2901(b) as establishing an absolute right for children's counsel in delinquency proceedings to review the Department of Social Services files of their client without an en camera review.
