if a person has a living will (a DNR order) does it become void in the case of suicide? if you dont know, where can i find the answer?. to marge: i was talking more of an advanced directive. like if they found an unconcious attempted suicide and the advanced directived specifically stated no heroics that was signed and witnessed 3 months prior..

What should be written in a contact agreement?

My stepson moved in with his grandma. Since this was his choice, is there anything HE can do so that he or his grandma can enroll him in school? It's far away, and since it was his decision (and he left on bad terms with my husband), isn't there anything HE can do?

Doctors typically have the right to make decisions in the best interest of the patient unless there is a person with power of attorney there to tell him to do otherwise. The advance directive is often very specific, and a doctor could act against the directive if he found that the facts didn't quite line up with what you'd anticipated.

allowed me to explore creative avenues. I was sexually abused during my younger years. Jumped from one house to another because relatives felt they could 'fix' me. I suffered from depression for years and from time to time, I battle with anxiety issues. I got married. Was verbally, physically and mentally abused to some degree. I am challenged when it comes to having babies.. . Now, about who I AM: I love big and with all of me. I'm reserved, I allow others to speak which makes me a great listener. I'm deeply passionate about the important things in life ... like people -- family, close friends, love, hope etc. I take the time to construct my words. I'm witty at times and honest. My biggest dream and probably only dream is to be a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother ... to have a family of my own.. . I consider myself resillient, deep and honest.. . I don't want a cheesy surname :) Any suggestions? [Sorry for the lengthy 'question']. Tina ... you're right.. . What I should have said [and meant] was that I wanted a name that represents who I am.. I'm definitely not wanting a change of name to erase parts of life. I just don't feel right about 'going back' to my maiden name, or keeping my married one.. . That said, any surname representing 'heart', 'soul', 'resillience' and 'life' will definitely be considered.. . And yes, my parents picked out a good one when they named me hehe. :). Hi msnoose,. . Thanks for the advice.. . I have actually thought about this for a number of months.. I don't have any plans of changing my name if and when I remarry. If I do, it will most likely be hyphenated.. . I have talked to a friend who has been in a similar situation and successfully changed her name ... almost for the same reason.. And I have done a little bit of legal reading about it ... and plan to talk about it further with my solicitor at my next meeting.. . But I am quite confident that this is what I want to do.. . I'm not trying to create a different person.. I don't know if it seems as though this is superficial ... but there is significance in this for me..
