Mr.Oncale is a graduate of Cumberland School of Law and has spent his entire career in the courtroom representing individuals, partnerships and corporations in litigation. While at Cumberland, Mr. Oncale had a distinguished record, graduating near the top of his class and serving as Managing Editor of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, as a member of the AAJ National Trial Team and as a member of both the Henry Upson Sims Moot Court Board and the Cumberland Trial Board.

  After graduation Mr. Oncale practiced with a well known Nashville, Tennessee firm before growing homesick for Alabama and returning to Birmingham to practice and found several well known and respected law firms. Growing tired of big firm life, Mr. Oncale struck out on his own in 2006 and has never looked back. He loves the variety of his practice and the fact that his office environment is more like a gathering spot than a true traditional law office. The books, computers, conference rooms and legal staff are still there, but both the staff and his clients are treated like family and not like employees or merely clients.

As someone who has taken a course on how to get back into the job market: a cover letter gives an employer some basic information about you such as what job you are interested in and your area of expertise.. . You begin by stating where or how you found out about a position. I saw an add online, news paper, friend etc... . You may state the you are looking for a summer job, full time, part time and that you just graduated high school but that you've been working, volunteering, in that industry or a related industry. Or that you are working right now, or have working experience of any kind including baby sitting and being a paper boy.
