  Permanent Brain Damage from Heart SurgeryOur Client underwent a mitral valve repair at a Cleveland hospital. Our Client developed pericardial effusion. Our Client was taken to a local hospital's emergency room where they failed to properly treat the pericardial effusion. The pericardial effusion developed into cardiac tamponade, which eventually caused Our Client's heart to stop. As a result, Our Client suffered permanent brain damage. A very substantial settlement was reached with the hospital.

  Death at an Unguarded Railroad CrossingOur Client was a 16 year-old boy who was killed while riding as a passenger in a car that was struck by a train at an unguarded railroad crossing. Hi- My father decided to buy a house in California, and I got to handle the house deal. We bought one, letting me occupy the home. He held the title in his name (so he could hold it as an asset).. . I now live in the house, and I'm fixing it up (big time). My question is- can I rent out this home while I am away traveling? My father consents, he'd let me rent out the home for my own income, but would he have to do any/all of the paperwork? Could I act as a landlord? Not sure how this should work.. . Thank you.
