Space A travel, unaccompanied spouse and children?

I'm getting married in 2 1/2 weeks. We're going on our honeymoon exactly one month after we get married. I'm wondering how long the entire name changing process takes so I can see if I can get it done before we leave for our honeymoon. I mostly need to have my passport and diver's license because I need those for the airport. I'm wondering if I should go for it, if it takes less than a month, or just wait until we get back from our honeymoon. Has anyone been able to change their last name in about a month? Is it possible?. Oh and I live in Colorado if that makes a difference, thanks!.
