I just advised my current employer that I have been offered another job and that I will be leaving the company. Per our employee agreement I signed 5 years ago, I am giving the requisite 2 weeks notice, but my boss has asked for 4 weeks so we can train my replacement. Honestly, I don't think I could do another 4 weeks here and since I would be training someone who already works for the company as opposed to a new hire I think his request is a bit extreme.
