I am looking for a job but have been out of the working world for some time. My resume is outdated and I need a new one that will give me the edge I need to get my foot in the door. I need a FREE website that will help me to develop a outstanding resume for free. If you know of one please let me know..

Click on File - > New. Your Task Pane should open on the right side of your screen. Look for something there that says "General Templates" or "Templates on My Computer" or something to that effect. All of your templates should be listed by category. They depend on what version of Word you're using.. . The most common type would probably be the Normal template. Not many people use templates to write documents - they usually just start typing away and format as necessary. When they do that, they're automatically using the Normal template (Times New Roman, 12 pt, single spacing, etc.)

My college is holding a few charity events throughout the year and our first is next month and I am in charge of preparing all of the events. We're doing a raffle and I have to contact local businesses and ask if they would be willing to donate things for the raffle. I'm 99% sure of what I'm putting in the letter but I'm not too sure on how to actually set it out. For example, how many lines to leave between "yours sincerely" (or 'many thanks' etc) and my signature at the bottom. It's just silly little things like that. I have never had to do this before so it is all completely new to me. Any and all tips will be greatly appreciated! :).
